The Hebron High School Choral Department consists of approximately 135 students in four performing choirs:  A cappella Choir, Belle Chanson, Concert Choir and Harmony! Show Choir.  The Hebron Choirs perform in a Fall Concert, December Cluster Concerts, a Holiday Concert, a weekend of Dessert Concerts, University Interscholastic League Concert and Sight-reading Contest and a themed, choreographed Spring Concert.  The Choir members also participate in the LISD Solo and Ensemble Contest and TMEA Region 24 auditions for Texas All-State Choir.  Members of the choir attend a spring competition where the Hebron choirs have consistently won “Best in Class” honors in such cities as New York City, Los Angeles, San Diego, South Padre Island, San Antonio and Houston. Since Hebron High School opened in 1999, the choral department has produced 20 Sweepstakes awards at the UIL Concert and Sight-reading contest, 172 Region 5 or Region 24 region choir members, and nine Texas All-State Choir members. Past members of the Hebron choirs have gone on to major in vocal performance, music education or have joined university choirs to express their musical enjoyment.

Members of the Hebron Choirs will readily tell you that membership in the Hebron choirs demands personal integrity, self-discipline, dedication and devotion. Many choir students are actively involved with other school activities such as football, tennis, swimming, cross country, track, band, orchestra, theatre, the all-school musical, cheerleading, journalism, academic decathlon, National Honor Society, Key Club, and many other organizations while maintaining a high level of involvement in the choral program.  In the choir room, students are challenged daily to work within their ensembles to prepare, perfect and perform varied musical genres to share with our multi-cultured community.  We are proud of our daily and weekly accomplishments and strive to further raise the bar of “Hebron Perfect” as we sing.
